Top 10 Awesome Boutique Hotel in Macau

If you are ever going to visit Macau, you certainly do not want to miss out on these top 10 gorgeous boutique Hotel. Check out the review below.

1. Conrad Macao Cotai Central

clean rooms? check. nice breakfast buffet? check. good location? check. coming from the four seasons in hk, it was hard to be overwhelmed, but the conrad was new and everything was simply nice. but the one thing that set this place apart for us was edmund tan, the chief concierge, who a week prior to our arrival, shot me a form email with some details on macao (this was our first time) and wrote that he could help us with any questions. well, i had a lot of questions. what is the best way to get there from my hk hotel? what is the best bar view in macao? can you get us tickets to the macao tower bungee?
can you book our ferry to the airport? and on and on.

To my pleasant surprise, he answered all of them courteously and thoroughly, completed requests with a smile, and made our short weekend stay there go perfectly. so would i recommend the hotel?

absolutely. it was clean, had great beds (firm mattresses which we liked), and was attached to and across the street from great shops with free shuttles to other hotels to boot. but if this is your first time in macao, the concierge here is world class and will help you find what you need and give you great recommendations should you have holes in your itinerary.

2. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Macau

Have heard how great the Ritz is here in town and finally had a chance to stayed for a night with my wife and my son, it's simply a phenomenon experience from start to end.

Started with the journey at the ESPA, Alice and her team has made the experience beyond real, the treatment was worth a million and the standard couple room was just unbelievably spacious and comfy, yet this is only the appetizer.

Check-in was done at the spa after our treatment, Daphne and Tracy has made it effortless for us without needing to approach the Front Desk. And woooooow, we were simply blown away by the preparations and setups in the suite, the playing tent, the balloons and the plush toy which has my son's name on, everything was amazing and the mentioning was only a tip of the iceberg.

You should definitely include the Executive Club package which includes 5 meals a day from breakfast to evening snack with free-flows of champagne.

The hotel has it's own pool area and you can access to the Grand Deck Pools of Galaxy which is absolutely a plus and great for the kids.

It truly was an unforgettable experience, the product was top-notch and the service was nearly too attentive to be true. Thank you Ritz Carlton Macau.

3. Mandarin Oriental, Macau

We stayed here for a weekend away from Hong Kong. Francis really made our stay amazing and ensured everything was perfect.

We ate in the restaurant the first night (note its on a low floor so not a great view). We were blown away by the amazing food, must try the french onion soup, the best I have ever had. The wine waiter was super friendly and helpful as well and the lovely waiter.

The rooms were lovely and big. The hotel does not have a casino however right next door to one.,This was nice as it meant we could get away from the hustle as that was our intention getting out of Hong Kong.

The spa was lovely and the lady who runs the reception was just lovely. We had the two hour signature massage and I have to say I would go back just for this, it was amazing.

Pool is nice, I would say the only slight let down is the service is not as impeccable here as with the rest of the hotel... This being said the service in the rest of the hotel is really outstanding so its a tough comparison.

Breakfast chocolate chip pancakes are a must!!!

I will definitely be making a trip back at some point soon.

Note, pre book your ferry back to HK as Sundays are super busy and we made this mistake.

4. Banyan Tree

5. Hotel Okura

I have been visiting Macau for more than a quarter of a century and have experienced different hotels. Now I would always stay at Okura hotel. The hotel staff members are friendly and professional. The tranquil environment and the thoughtful service always keep me coming back to the hotel for my next vacation. I can enjoy an unhurried life at Okura hotel and it will be my first choice in Macau for years to come.

The sauna room in the bathroom gives me privacy and I can watch the television while enjoying the Jacuzzi. I also like to watch the sunset at the balcony and take some photos during the magic hours. The electrically operated curtains block any light entering the room which is perfect for someone like me who likes to wake up late in the morning.

You must try Yamazato - the signature restaurant of the hotel. It is the best Japanese restaurant in Macau that I have encountered. The Terrace Restaurant on the 6th floor is not just convenient but also provides excellent quality food. Don’t forget to try the ‘seafood tower on ice’.

The Wave Pool and the River Ride are unique, lively and exciting. You may prefer the indoor swimming pool of the hotel if you seek the chance to have the swimming pool all to yourself. That experience is awesome.

I have enjoyed some movies at the cinema in the Promenade. I find the comfort and pleasure of shopping at the spacious Promenade so superb that you may overspend. It seems impossible to try out all the restaurants in the Promenade, nearby hotels and the Broadway Food Street. I like the lobster soup at Belon and the Chinese dim-sum at Lai Heen.

Occasionally, I would still like to visit other places in Macau. I can do so by taking the free but luxurious buses offered by the Macau Galaxy Resort. I am sure that you can always find a bus route that brings you to the place you want to go.
